Portland, TN - Alyson Rae Wheeler, age 41, of Portland, passed away on January 19th, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Athens, GA on August 31st, 1984 to Walter Phelps Veale Jr. & Sandra Grant Veale.
Mrs. Alyson Wheeler is survived by her loving husband, John Wheeler; son, Asa Wheeler; daughter, Sadie Wheeler; parents, Walter and Sandra Veale of Portland; brother, Matt (Stefanie) Veale; sister, Bethany (Ryan) Shelton; nephew, Cooper Veale; mother-in-law, Tralece Wheeler of Portland.
Funeral service for Mrs. Alyson Wheeler will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 at Generation Church in Portland, TN with Pastor Brandon Petty officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Alyson Wheeler will be on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home & on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Generation Church in Portland, TN.
Interment will be in Portland Memorial Gardens in Portland, TN.
Bo Johnson, Grant Johnson, Derrick Miller, Charlie McCoin, Daniel Harper, & Travis Whittemore will serve as pallbearers.
