Portland, TN - Mr. Michael Wayne Barber, age 62 of Portland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday evening, January 11, 2026 at his residence. Mike was born on November 12, 1963 in Franklin, Kentucky to the late Doug Barber and Patsy Rawls Lane.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Kendra Scarbro; brother, Donny Barber; sister, June Vaughn; two nephews, Dewayne Barber and Justin Vaughn.

He is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna Barber; children, Daniel Barber, Cody (Carrie) Barber, Lindsey Barber and Trisha Gregory; grandchildren, Kolten, Cassidy, Wyatt, Shelby, Brianna, Luke, Blake and Bailey; sister, Sheila Barber Caraway; mother-in-law, Carol Spivey; fur baby, Tucker.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 16th at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery in Portland with Timmy Barber, Mark Barber, Larry Barber, Ryan Vaughn, James Trevino and Bruce Graves serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Thursday, January 15th from 11:00 AM-8:00 PM and Friday, January 16th from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
