Portland, TN - Shirley Jean Wix, age 82 of Portland, Tennessee passed, away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Shirley was born on January 2, 1943 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Lloyd and Hester Idell Keen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Wix Sr.; son, Timothy Owen Wix Sr.; grandson, Gayland Lee Gregory; granddaughter, Lauren Danielle Wix; sister, Linda Palmer; brothers, Larry Keen and Charles Keen.

Ms. Wix is survived by her children, Billy Joe Wix Jr. (Amanda), Wayne Wix (Holly), Debbie Law (Robert) and Jennifer Gregory (Dale); grandchildren, Timothy Wix Jr (Bobbi), David Wix, Brian Wix (Dakota), Amber Petty (Travis), Ashley Wix, Kyle Wix, Kody Mittelstrasser (Cheyenne), Caleb Wix, Dylan Wix (Summer), Katie Wix, Parker Gregory (Vanessa), Callie Gregory and Sarah Law; great-grandchildren, Mia, Gracie, Daniella, Brian, Brookelyn, Aubree, Nevaeh, Izabella, Winter, Kolden, Dawson, Mason, Ryker, Levi, Jenna, Bentley, Zoey, Chloe, Axel, Ashlynn, Serenity, Eva and Everleigh; sisters, Katherine Shaw and Dianne Shaw.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Chaplain Robert Law officiating. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery with Dale Gregory, Travis Petty, Timothy Wix Jr., David Wix, Caleb Wix, Kody Mittelstrasser, Parker Gregory and Kyle Wix serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 22nd from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 23rd from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.
