Virginia Stafford Obituary

Virginia Stafford was born July 29, 1944, in TN and she passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN at the age of 80.


She was the daughter of James Washington Mooneyhan and Josie Walker Mooneyhan. She was a babysitter for many children over the years and was a dedicated homemaker. Virginia attended Lakeview Church of Christ.


She was proceeded in death by her parents; spouses: James Calvert, James Tucker, and Daniel Stafford; sisters: Laura, Edna, May, and Thelma; brothers: Odell, Benny, Roy, and Billy.


Survivors include her sons: James Randall Calvert and Roger Dale (Carrie) Calvert, both of Gainesboro, TN; brother, Donald (Betty) Mooneyhan of Portland, TN; sister, Linda Upchurch of Scottsville, KY; grandchildren: Ginger Thompson of Hendersonville, TN, Justin Calvert of Gainesboro, TN, and Jada Calvert of Gainesboro, TN.


Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 10 :00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services were conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. The burial followed in Pharris Cemetery.
